Why does it always rain when we are holding Fundraisers????? It is a holiday to celebrate

so there is no school....we need to raise some more funds as the set - up...tools/parts, for the robot is weighting on our budget. We still need to get t-shirts, buttons, and make the crate (for starters).
We announces the recycling drive all over SUHSD, hoping for a good turnout. But between the rain and the holiday (No one wanted to venture out)..we made $98....but we had fun!


We were hoping with a little leg, we could get some customers!

Where do we go to build our robot?

After meeting in any classroom that was available; working on designs; meeting endlessly with students..we needed a room that we could build the robot.....a room that we could set up the tools and leave the robot as we finished each day. The problem is, in Alternative Education every site, classroom, space is used on a regular bases/daily...which means that there would be other people/students that could "play" with the robot...literally there is no room available.
But leave it to Mrs. Hodge! she will come up with the answer.....in her outer office...where the students that come to her office to work on computers; the teacher's mail boxes are located; teacher resources materials; etc......but it is a 8 ft X 8 ft area...and really, TEAM 2599 can do anything!
